Information Collection and Use SEPTA does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen nor does it wish to collect any such information. SEPTA can gather two types of information about you. The first is "Personally Identifiable Information". The second type of information is "Tracking Information". Tracking information is defined as the information recorded as users navigate throughout the website. Information is gathered through the use of website browser "cookies". How you can opt-in or opt-out of SEPTA Pass Perk promotional e-mail? You may choose to receive promotional e-mail about various perks such as shopping, nightlife, restaurants, places to stay and upcoming events at www.septapassperks.org/perks_alert.php. By filling out the information and clicking the "submit" button, you are choosing to receive e-mails or are "opting in" on the policy. If you have already provided SEPTA with your e-mail address and are receiving promotional e-mails, you may opt-out by following the appropriate opt-out instructions listed on the bottom of the e-mail. How does SEPTA protect your Personally Identifiable Information? All information is stored within a database controlled and accessible only to SEPTA and its specifically authorized contractors. Even with effective measures of security implemented by SEPTA, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the complete security of our system, nor can we guarantee that information supplied would not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. If you do not want us to know any particular piece of information about you, then do not include it either in e-mail or do not post it to the website.
